I love mascots. That's just about all you need to know about me. But I don't like them when they're doing "mascot" type things. I don't need some guy dressed up in a suit to let me know when to cheer or make me ask why the Spurs employ a coyote with jersey number "2!" I only enjoy mascots when they're doing somewhat normal stuff. This is why all ESPN commercials with mascots just kill me. I know that sounds dumb, but it makes me laugh when I think about the Western Kentucky blob roaming the hallways of an office building. If this makes me sound like a crazy person, just know that I follow the Chicago Cubs. That's my baseball team, which is odd because my father's baseball team is the Yankees. I'm not sure how that happened, but I'm certain my mascot love is a direct result of it.
