And with one strange funky word (I’m still not convinced it actually is a word and neither is my Microsoft Word spell check) the Lakers season and budding young center took a massive blow on Sunday night.  A pessimist at heart, I blame myself for the injury.  I got too over-confident.  I was actually beginning to believe that THIS was the year for the Lakers return to dynasty form.  I even started to think Mitch Kupchak actually KNEW what he was doing… 

And then subluxation hit.  It sounds like a triple word score in the middle of the scrabble board.  Only in this case no one gets any points.  Damn you fickle mistress you have spurned me!  Get ready for the Kobe shoot-a-thon kicking off tonight at Seattle.
